In this August,my mum was diagnosed as lung cancer,we family all feel upset and sad,we know that this cancer is hard to cure and easy to proliferate, after two months' medical treatment of radiotherapy and chemotherapy in hospital, the big tumor became smaller and smaller,in recent check, the tumor was almost gone,my dad planed to sent her to accept Chinese traditional medicine to consolid the curative effect,my questions are:because of the side effect of radiotherapy and chemotherapy,my mum feels painful in oesophagus when she swallows food, who can tell me how to alleviate this situation?Help!

First of all very sad to know that your mother is suffering from Lung Cancer. Once a tumour is detected and removed by any of the therapy's there would be an accompanying pain which lingers for some time as there are some other portions near the tumour that also get affected by the therapy. The best thing for you is to check with the doctor you are consulting. Remember one more thing, with cancers there is always a possibility of it returning back after some treatment, so do a regular check up every 6 months to see if there is a relapse happening.
Also, if your mother is into smoking, convince her to quit.
Wishing you all the best!
Cheers!!
