Most Pathetic & Shameful Act - Religion Conversion.
There can be nothing as degrading to a religion as to religion conversion.
A person who cant respect the moral values taught by his religion can never respect any other religion either.
what do u thing? religion conversion should be banned or not?

I am a Christian and I follow the Christian religion laid down in the Holy Bible. As a Christian, I am a servant of God and we are commanded to preach the Word. Preaching is the way God calls His children who are scattered all over the world. We do not force people to believe, but we keep on preaching in order that the children of God may hear and they come to the flock. If they turn to the flock, that is what is referred to as conversion.
Preaching has been done since time immemorial so to say. In fact, Noe preached for 150 years for people to turn to God but they did not and so God sent the great flood to destroy His creation except Noe and his sons and all others that were in the ark.
I don't see anything wrong with preaching and conversion into the Christian religion because we do not compel people to turn to God. God gives us wisdom and free will. We have the freedom to choose and so if people turn to God, well and good; if not, God is very sorry but He will not at all force them.

No I most certainly do not think that religious conversion should be "banned". I think that's utterly ridiculous in fact. God created us and gave us the free will to think and learn and grow and to use our minds and hearts to make the right decisions for ourselves. That means that we don't need to be dictated to about what we "should" believe. Belief is a personal issue and wanting to learn more about other beliefs (and thus more about different aspects of God) can only be a good thing. Religion is all man-made anyway. God didn't make religion. I can't imagine a God that wants us to ever stop seeking out our faith and feeling the passion to learn and grow in our faith. How does being chained to one religious doctrine encourage growth? Organized religion promotes the concepts of divisiveness, superiority, arrogance and intolerance, much like your post suggests. It encourages hatred of those who are different from us and have different beliefs or follow different "man-made" rules of other religions. It needs to focus more on worshipping God and having gratitude for the life we have been given, and less about poking our noses in other people's business and judging others.
