What are your best tips for researching a family tree? Do you have favorite online genealogy sites? Any good books that have been very helpful? I appreciate your feedback!

have just started doing my tree, and use the site http://www.ancestry.com It is easy to use and searches for possible records for each person.They are also giving free Military records until June ^th. Hope you like it!

Thanks for your thoughts! Ancestry.com is awesome. Rootsweb is affiliated with Ancestry and their information is free; I have had a lot of luck with it also. Good luck researching your family; it is an addictive pasttime!
