Is it necessary to rate ........???

Hey Friends, I've a doubt whether it's necessary to rate every discussion or post that we encounter. And what do anybody get from that and why don't some people just neglect it ??
Do you rate the discussions and comments you get to your discussions ??

yes I do rate the discussions and comments I get in my discussions.I do it when I find some replies as really good.It is an appreciation to the writings of a person.Its also good if you get your replies rated.So do rate discussions if you really liked it.

It's not really necessary, but it is nice to rate discussions that are of good quality and aren't from a 'penny-collector' who just posts complete nonsense. I take the time to rate discussions of people who really help out or respond nicely because they deserve it.
