Whats the minimum age for marriage in your country?

In my country it is-18 yrs for women and 21 yrs for men.

Why is it a different age for men and women? What a ridiculous and oppressive law.

In my country too they have 18 for women and 21 for women...well cause in our country normally boys are 2-3 years older than their counterparts. This is a general trend.

In Portugal is 18, but it can be 16 if the parents allow!

In my country, the USA, it depends on several factors. For the most part, it is 18 for both men and women. However, it might be lower in the state they live. Next, the parents might consent to marriage at an earlier age. Of course, extenuating circumstances like pregnancies might allow an earlier marriage.
