Enjoy the Rain....!

I love rain, when I am inside my home. Not when I have to go and attend to any urgent work. To enjoy rain is one of my favourite past time, there can be no season like rainy season. It is a wonderful experience to enjoy it. Today also, it is drizzling in Delhi, since morning, so I saw your question at the right moment, while writing this I am enjoying rain from my window.

I have always loved the rain. But I am a Pisces, a water sign. So I guess it stands to reason that I would like rain. I live in East Texas where we have red clay and and rolling hills. A lot of the country roads have hard, red clay ditches on either side of them which have been washed out by the rain. When it rains these ditches become Mother Nature's own Water Slides. They are hard, slick and the water rushes down them in a torrent. When I was a kid we had never heard of Water Parks or Water slides. I just knew the the most fun in the world was a summer day with a good rain storm. I ruined many play clothes with thoes red clay stains slipping and sliding down the magical water slides. I would still love to be able to do this but, I am afraid that some one would have me declared a danger to myself and have me committed. So, for now I just settle for acting like I forgot my umbrela or rain coat and enjoy walking or fishing in the rain. However, I have a plan. By next summer my grandson will be old enough to enjoy Nature's Water Slides and who knows grandmother might accidently on purpose slip by the road side while teaching him the right techniques.

LOL I love the rain too, and I don't even own an umbrella! I like the cozy nights of a cold rainy night. I like to keep my cutains and blinds open while it is pouring down rain and watch it through the day.

i enjoy rains when i stay in the house, but when i have a plan to go out and it rains, i feel really bad

I'm just the opposite.LOL.I never liked the rain.Its actually a dirty feeling you get all sloppy with all the rain on your face and stuff.Its just me I've always been that way.

My country is hot and humid. Having a little rain is certainly a welcoming feeling. But I prefer to stay indoor if the rain is falling. I don't want to get all soak up.

Oh I love the rain too and it is so much fun to get drenched to the bone..:o) I know what you mean when you say others stare..I think they are just plain jealous that they can't frolic like us..lol I remember once it was raining very very heavily and my brother and I had to get home from another place. When we started it wasn't so bad but later it increased and the roads soon began to empty so it was safe for us to drive. We were on a two wheeler too and the whole way we sang out loud at the top of our voices. The falling rain sound was deafening and we were trying to shout louder!! That was such a wonderful evening! Rain always reminds me of that time..:)

I guess I am one of the people who has gotten older and I don't like the rain. I don't think I ever liked it even as a child as I am living in Ireland and we get far too much rain. I love the snow but we get very little of it here.

yes i love the rains, when i was young, sometimes i used to play in the rain, now i enjoy more in watching rains, but i dont care much if i get wet because then i can enjoy being in the rain. i think when we are kids, even smallest things gives us great pleasure and when we grow old we are not attracted much to these things, that's the only difference i think, i.e i mean to say that we forget to enjoy and take pleasure when we grow up

I love the rain, so long as its not too cold out. It feels good and smells good during a rainstorm. I never undersood people's instinct to avoid the rain..or obsession with keeping it off them. I mean its not like one would melt if touched by a bit of water..it's not ACID, lol.

Yes, I like rain. I feel inspired whenever I hear the sound of the raindrops and the water falling from the sky soothes my eyes. The cold weather calms my mind that it make me think clearly. As much as possible, I want to enjoy the rain without umbrella. When I was a child, we even play with the flood. I don't care what people thought of me. Well, if they want, then they can join.

I don't love the rain but don't hate it either. I have been living in a tropical for my entire life so the rain is something that I tolerate since it comes almost everyday, especially during rainy season. I would love for it to rain though during summer as it can get very hot in my country so rain could relieve the humidity. But I like watching the rain, I just don't want it on me. LOL!

Like you do i enjoy playing in the rain during my childhood days and it seems as we're getting older its a pretty funny thing playing in the rain, that trigger me also and asking the same thing WHY?Maybe they say only children has the right to play in the rain:D but we still have our freedom to do it if we'd like, right? I could remember on rainy day at my age now, i once went playing in the rain and my cousins saw me they laugh and said i look like a wet frog..(lol)quite disgusting but who cares as long as i enjoy every rain drops falling on my face then.

For me, I only enjoy it if I am dry and warm. :P If I am all running FROM the rain, you can imagine why I won't get too excited. I rather be clean and dry. ^^

it's because when you're older, you're afraid to get sick if you're playing in the rain. unlike children who don't have any fear, they will play in the rain, and because they don't think they will get sick, usually they don't get sick! me myself enjoy the rain but while I'm already at home. I love seing the rain out of my window.

I enjoy walking in the rain, it can sometimes be the best way to clear your mind and relax, I never use an umbrella I just don't like them I would rather get wet. Another time I really enjoy the rain is at night when camping, I love to fall asleep listening to the rain fall on the tent, not so good in the morning if you have to pack up a wet tent though lol.

Seems like many people enjoy the rain.I like rain more during my childhood.Appreciate them more.Hmm...(sigh).Like what u said it will look silly if i walk in the rain.Hmm..people will think that i'm crazy. but there was one time during my college day,my friends and me.We walk through the heavy rain, enjoy playing in the rain. But we ended up having cold the next day...
