This discussion is about people who have abnormal social acts like murder.
Is it menthal illness and should we cure these people?
or
Are they bad people and should we just kill or jail them?
Is it crime an abnormal act perpetrated by abnormal people?
Is it out there someone with a cure?

The reason behind any crime can vary from one criminal to other. It is often that a crime is committed due to a persons financial condition. I have always seen money to be the biggest criminal, one of the best examples of mankind's bad karma. The only thing the human mind knows best is survival and it is always ready to do anything to survive, whether it is stealing or killing.
One more reason would be mental unstableness, which itself is caused due to many reasons like bad childhood or inability to understand certain basic fundamentals.
Ans sometimes the reason is a criminals sadistic mind. Whatever the reason may be, we should treat them with respect, and make them learn through their mistakes.

I agree with you. But don't you think that society isn't doing anything to understand the true "illness" and its variety in order to "medicate" and cure the individual?

Regarding crimes it is not always the mental illness sometimes circumstances of a person are beyond control and he does the crime. Once the circumstances are changed the same person can be as normal as any of us. Though in some there is mental illness responsible for crimes, that should be cured.
