What are the ugliest shoes you have ever owned?

I have two pairs of the Beach style Crocs. They are so ugly, but so comfortable! I can't believe they have become so popular. I mostly just wear mine on Disney vacations- they are great theme park shoes when you are walking around the parks 10 miles or so per day!

When I moved to Oklahoma a year and a half ago, I saw for the first time the Croc Sandal. And I thought it was the ugliest shoe I have every seen. And for some reason, everyone in this state loves to wear them! They are actually a beach sandal...but there is no beach here....it is landlocked. ha ha So, I had to wonder why so many people wore them. Then I finally asked someone why. And they said it was the most comfortable shoe. Hmmm...I guess I might have to try sometime. LOL

I think the ugliest shoes I ever owned were these wood and leather clogs I had back when I was in like the 5th grade..I don't know why I wanted them, I don't know why I wore them..they made so much noise and were just so heavy..they didn't go with anything I wore..when I think about it now, I see why I was laughed at for those..

I think the ugliest shoes I ever owned was a pair of black wooden clogs when I was in the 5th grade...I think back to when I wore them and can't help but gag to myself..they were so noisy and ugly..what was I thinking?

Crocs may be the ugliest shoes but they sure are the most comfortable ones ive ever put on my feet .My daughter bought me some and ive worn them ever since!

They would have been something my mother bought for me when I wasn't shopping with her. They were a pair of baby blue runners and my friends slagged me about them until they wore out. I made sure they wore out VERY quickly!

i dont think i have one ugly shoes...im very choosy in buying one i guess..

In the 70's we wore what we called platform shoes. God they were ugly clanky, chunky and not to mention hard to walk in. But they were the trend and every one of us growing up back then owned them. Shesh we really had such outrageous fashion sense in the 70's. I cringe every time I get an old year book out and look at us.

I bought some furry boots that everyone thinks is ugly other than me. I hate Crocs though. They make me sick just looking at them and now Sketchers is making a similar type of shoe for kids that they can customize. Crocs are one thing that I will NEVER own.

I won't buy shoes that I think are ugly. Why bother if I know I won't wear them? But I have seen some hideous looking sports shoes that people try to give me. Yucks!! :P

i had these pink shoes my mother bought me as a kid,i think to-date,they're still the ugliest. she knew i hated pink,and got them anyway. flowers and everything.yuck.

Yes I have a pair of "ugly brown" croc sandals. I love wearing it hehehe ....feels like I'm not wearing anything at all on my feet. I love the feeling of freedom and comfort it gives me.

I have not gotten hooked on these shoes, thank god. I think that they are hideous looking and can't understand why they have becom so popular.
