Ways to save water:
1. use a glass when you brush your teeth and not leave the water running.
2. water from rinsing clothes and plates could be used as flush water for the toilets
3. Make sure there are no leaks in the faucets and water line.
4. don't use the shower when taking a bath

hi,friend,The knowledge of best utilization of water and preservation to furthur generations etc have less impact on india as 60% of population is rural. We always discuss about how to conserve water in a house/apartment level as we are living in cities. The govt. and other organizations should emphasis on population where the water wastage is more and educate them.Wastage of water due to-absorbption of water in canal flowing area due to nonlining of canals, flood irrigation to fields, less utilization of microirrigation system....etc are adding more contribution apart from our wastage in cities.May be i am deviating the subject.sorry.

The only way to save water is by utilize water wisely.
We should always close our faucet tightly, check always for any leakages on the pipeline and repair it immediately.Do not clean your cars or vehicle regularly instead have them clean once a month in order to conserve water wisely.
