Why does myLot pay us??????

Hey folks , could nebody of u tell me why exactly myLot pays us for using their site?? i mean , i dont get the point behind it .... Why would nebody bother to pay us just for sum discussions we started in their site?? Are they in anyway benifitted from the discussions or threads we start ... if yes, then how????
