I had just made this sandwich a few minutes ago and it was fantastic! So I thought I would share....I now have 2 topics going about sandwiches. One for hot and one for cold. Anyway, this sandwich is very simple, different, and so good! Turkey Sandwich I took one piece of wheat bread, and spread mayonaisse on half of it. I took deli style turkey and folded up over the half with mayo. I then topped with a slice of Swiss, cut in half too, to fit the half side of the sandwich. On the opposite "bare" half, I took whole berry cranberry and spread that generously over that side. Then folded it and ate! Yum! I know what you are thinking-mayo and cranberry? Well I swear by it tht it tastes great, but you can always omit the mayonnaise anyway. If you try it, let me know if you like it!

I have always eaten my turkey sandwiches with Cranberry Sauce (jellied, not whole). My family thinks I'm nuts, but it really is soooo good. The sweet cranberry sauce perfectly compliments the salty mayo. I have never tried it with cheese though...I bet that would be good. Next time, I'll give that a try!

It is good-I tried it with Jack, and it wasn't that great. But the Swiss made it taste awesome!! Made all the difference :)

my sister in law hooked me on this sandwich 15 years ago, when we were staying at her house over thanksgiving. For dinner she took leftover turkey meat, mayo, and cranberry relish (whole berry) I thought, oh gross! but she insisted I try it, and it was fabulous!

LOL-well at first I tried it without mayonnaise. I love mayo, but didn't think the cranberry would taste good with it. Well my first attempt at it (without) it seemed like it was missing something. So the next one I made, I added one side of mayo as I described and that was the ticket. I like these sandwiches so much, I usually make one once a week for my lunch for work.

LOL, it isn't anymore than putting both mayonnaise and mustard on a sandwich! If you like cranberry, you should try it-it is well worth it!
