What Are Your Fave Crystals?

I have heard aboout this and I am interested in all serious things related to metaphysics, but I don't know much about cristals actually. Anyways, I wanted to join here and tell you it is a very interesting topic.

I bought a beautiful piece of rough Kyanite today.Not seen it before and was drawn to it instantly.I have discovered what its for,so I understand why I was drawn to it.What I would like to know is can anyone tell me the best way to use this piece,I have never had a rough crystal before.

My absolute #1 favourite is definately the Amethyst...next in line would have to be Amber with Rose Quartz coming in third and Hematite in at fourth place

From my experience with natural crystals for the past 20 years , i feel that different stones work for different people depending on the energy level they have and what they need. I used to use crystals a lot and have a bit of a knack with them. however I've come away from it a lot, as I've become more aware of the ethical and environmental impact of mining for Crystals. so I still use the ones I have, as I have far more than enough, but I don't buy any more. I've found myself working more with the stones I find. a Hagstone is one of the most powerful types of stone I've encountered. a stone from the moor is completely different in energy to a stone from the beach. so instead of buying stones which are usually blasted out of the Earth by underpaid workers, why not try seeing what you can find, comparing how they feel and developing a real intuitive relationship with these stones. they are just as effective.

I only really work with basic crystals right now...Rose Quartz, Quartz, Moonstone, Amethyst...I do love crystals though...

I love regular quartz for some odd reason. I've found, for me, it helps with headaches. I like moonstone though, because I have some menstrual cycle issues and I found, while keep that stone around, it really helped balanced things out a bit. Those two stones are the only ones I've ever really worked with. I have others, I just don't know what all of the stones are, nor do I really know all of their uses.
