TV or Internet? Which do you prefer?

Yes, there are ways to talk with your friends from all over the world for free and I think it's great:) While watching TV you're so passive, everything you can do is to change the channel. But internet - you can use it quite acive.

The choice was really hard. I was choosing best response for the firt time, my first 2 disscusions had 0 responses, LOL. "The internet can bring me TV. TV can not put me on the internet" - you simply said what I was thinking about but never was so smart to say it by myslef, hehe.

I can understand your point of view, because it's mine too;) It's something interesting on TV from time to time, but most of the time it's nothing to watch.

lol I'll give you a high five for that! I just watch tv when I'm interested with the movie or they're showing something like the ms. universe,. I watch that.

hi shekher. I'm not surprised, that you choose TV, as a person, who sits a lot of time in front of the PC at wokr. Spending time surfing internet after whole day od work with computer would be bad idea:). take care.

It's good way to entartain both watching TV or surfing internet. I personally don't watch TV mainly because it's so passive source of entertain and information. Internet is more flexible. But still I can't see nothing bad in watching TV from time to time, especially if you watch programs which you're interested in, not everything what's on TV all the day. I have friends who turn on TV during surfing internet but they're not watching it. They have TV on almost all the day, even if they really don't watch it. And when I visit them and we talk, they still left TV on:/ It's not good habit I think.

Oh, I'd feel uncomfortable without internet connection at home. Every information I am looking for I check on internet. But I don't have TV-set since I'm not living with my parents. It wouldn't be useful for me:) I think it's time-eater.

yes, watching TV may be more comfortable, you can sit in an armchair with remote control in your hand:) Spending a lot of time in front of the comupter is not so comfortable, there's not many ways to change your position.

I think if I had to sit in front of the computer all the time at work, I'd not like to do it in my spare time.

Inernet is my favourite invention:) It's a way to communicate, reading news, jokes, watching pictures. It would be hard to mention about all use of it.

I suppose it would be hard for you to resign TV or internet, if you like both:) I like also the fact, that if you search internet you'll find almost everything, old episodes of TV programmes too:)

It's what I feel too, when I used to watch TV I was so bored doing it. While surfing internet I'm interested what I see, because I've choosen it:)

Yes, on the internet you watch what you'd like to watch, not what appears. It's great.

I watch my DVD's on my computer, so I don't need TV at all:)

I believe there is something really good on TV sometimes, maybe I'm too lasy to look through all programs to find it LOL.

It's nice to find another internet follower. Could you give some reasons why do you prefer internet surfing to TV watching?:)
