Do television adverts drive you crazy?

hi there, well without the adverts, people wouldn't really make a bigger business out of it or sell many things! this is one of the main reasons why i don't really watch television too because of all these adverts plus many of them, (for example) a teeth whitening advert comes on, ive bought that same item before and it never made my teeth go white one little bit, lol! that also annoys me too because i think there lying most of the time!

I usually watch tv when I get home from work and sometimes in the morning before I report for work. There's a telenovela series here that I like to watch in one channel. When there are adverts or commercial, I just shift to other channel just to skip to watch the adverts. In case there are adverts too in the other channels, I shift to my karaoke which is already plugged on and sing for a while. While there are adverts or commercials that are worth seing, I am irked because it is shown repeatedly.

I'm not a big television watcher either but I know what you mean. When I watch the news at night the same adverts come one over and over and it drives me crazy. So your not alone on this hun, everyone else is going bonkers too! LoL.

yes i get so annoyed when im watching something and theirs adverts every 15 mins

It can drive me crazy , special when i am watching some show and they would get commercial every five minutes.it is just annoying, but wat we can do about it?nothing probably.

There is this one commercial shown here in the local atlanta area that I absolutely hate. It is for a store called Builder's Surplus. The guy wearing blue overalls throughs his arms in the air & yells "YeeHaw at Builder's Surphus blah blah blah blah blah yada yada yada yeehaw!" If I am in the bedroom when this commercial comes on I will either change the channel or mute the TV. If I am in my living room on my computer. I will plug my ears and sing La la la la relly loud. It doesn't do me any good to try to run ing to the bedroom to change the channel. I don't run any more.

Yes I get very annoyed with all the stupid adverts,I usually mute my tv. untill they are all over with.Now with spring coming on I will not be watching so much tv,I'll be outside more working in my garden.

We have gotten so that we watch most of our favorite TV shows after they've been on, as we've recorded them on our DVR. That way we can fast forward thru the commercials. We watch so many different shows that there is always something recorded to watch. We might watch our favorites an hour to several days after the original airing, but we watch it when we get time and forward thru the commercials. We hate having to sit through the commercials, especially since they play the same ones over and over, like you said.

yes they do...that's why I enjoy public television and the pay cable television channels.

hi, when i am watching tv and if any adwerts are coming again and again then i am shouting because i don't like the adverts for disturbing me in the movie or something else.

LOL... I wouldn't say I like adverts but they don't really drive me crazy. The ones in Singapore are usually pretty well done and they are quite nice to watch. This said, I do get highly irritated when they interrupt a favorite program of mine. :P

What bugs me most is the kids know the songs!!! If I'm watching tv I always channel hop when the adverts come on which is a bit of a pain cos I find something interesting and miss the rest of the film I was watching cos I forget it was on in the first place! lol

I usually watch tv every day and i don't like the adverts also. Mostly the top shops adverts are very bugging because they always talk the same text over and over again.And they show the same adverts over and over again as well.

You think watching commericals are bad try watching the news programs. They beat the hell out of a story. The same story, over & over...That is annoying. Try TBN No commercials! Spirtual

I hate commercials. I always have. That'w why when I do watch TV I watch either satellite, mainly movies and or Netflix. No commercials. I like it that way.
