Why do most smokers drink Mountain Dew when smoking?

I used to smoke about 20 years ago. I never drank mountain dew when I smoked. I usually drank coffee or had a glass of orange juice. Maybe for the people that are drinking the mountain dew it's the caffeine and sugar they like? That's my guess.

Yeah maybe it is.It probably gives them an extra boost.

Actually I seldom drink Mountain Dew. I don't really think there is a connection between smokin gand drinking that brand of soda pop. I actually know many who don't smoke and drink it more then those who do smoke. So you have lost me on that connection. Sorry.

There are plenty of smokers at my place of employment. I noticed most of them drink mountain dew while smoking.

i do not know whether it is true because i m a heavy smoker and dont do this and i have also not seen any of my friend doing this.
