You didn't say how old you were, because what you will find to fill your life now will depend a lot on your age. Try to find a goal and work toward it, like saving to buy something special -- a bike, a car, a house. Try to find a way to help other people. There are so many needy people. Maybe some elderly people in your neighborhood aren't able to do yardwork any more and you could offer to help. Or volunteer in a mission--they are always wanting part time help to serve meals, or things like that. If you have a car and a clean driving record, offer to drive people who don't have transportation to doctor appointments, or ask if you can deliver meals on wheels to shut-ins. Go to church. Develop a relationship with God. Read His word. Find out what the Bible expects people to do with their lives. I can't imagine that you couldn't find at least a dozen things to do every single day. Get out of that bed and get started. Trust me, it will help your depression more than any kind of medicine.
