LOL. cute. I have been trying to get some new ideas for making cakes, so I figured I'd see what everyone eats. And I've been baking away since. lol.

oh yeah. I have an awesome recipe. I make it for my birthday every year.

I was handed a recipe but the cake turns out hot pink . I never buy it my cousin makes a really moist one so I normally beg her to make me one

yay for the cousin. :) lol, hot pink- i might like that, its my favorite color, but I suppose not what you want in a red velvet.

They say you can put on calories just by talking about food. Yes, you can; makes you go right for the chocolates. I'm bad I eat with a spoon those little containers of frosting they have now. There's always some left after I frost the cake that way. Maybe I just cheated and didn't put it all on,...no the cake was too small, yea, that's it.

oh, mine is somewhere, in the first page i think. it's boston cream pie. i posted my recipe for another poster. i just love it! black forest is one of my favorite ones to make though. I dont know why, it just looks so - pretty. lol.

no, i never tried to make it yet, but we used to buy them from a lady and she made them from scratch. They were good, she could bake any kind of cake you wanted, she past away though, so i don't get them anymore.

Cheesecake is good but I like devil's food cake with chocolate frosting! :) I love me some chocolate. Give me some Vanilla Bean Breyers ice cream on the side and I'm in heaven!

waoooow @wsue! ive checked ur cake blog and i think u bake too good hehe and they look all tempting for a taste.

simple, and traditional- i love it.Sometimes I melt cream cheese and confectioners sugar, and pour it over the top, right when it comes out of the oven- it melts into the cake. delicious with yellow cake. Thanks for the reply.

I like chocolate cake, but not a favorite. but oh, my, chocolate cream cheese frosting- wonderful. depending on the type of cake, sometimes i put white chocolate chips on top. mmmm.

With or without topping is okay for me, but usually I take without topping.

mud cake is actually choocolate cake with chocolate cream on top very rich in chocolate.

lol. dont think of it as lazy, think of it as - adding a little more enjoyment to your favorite thing. lol

Thats womderful. Whenever the next special event is, coming up - you enjoy your chocolate cake!

I try not to do either one very often now that there's only my husband and myself to eat it. I still consider the bakery cakes an extra special treat and indulge in one once in a great while.

and one more kudos to the chocolate. and creamy cake? uh oh, I think we're up to 4, possibly 5, cakes that I dont know. So, what exactly is a creamy cake? thanks for the response.

cheesecake is definiately well loved. and as cheesecake goes- what toppings do you like on it, if any? and a mexican cream cake- you've gotta fill me in on that one. wow- 3rd cake i didnt know about. lol thanks for the response.

Actually, I like my cheesecake without toppings most of the time, but every now and then I like turte cheesecake. Mexican Cream Cake is a cross between Italian Cream Cake and a dump cake. I think it is a regional thing here, one of our Tex Mex creations.

hahaa... i like it the most... kind of good stuff.. anything filled with chocolate.. how about american chocolate cake? i have it in malaysia. i dont know about other country.
