Not again....

My last discussion was about having to wait for the cable guy and how I was so irritated.
Today is my 7 year anniversary and I had a special day planned out. Everything was / is good and I spent some quality time with my wife alone and without the kids. The only complaint I have is that my flowers and card that I ordered from ftd.com never arrived. I called customer service and they told me that the store that was delivering was closed for the day and I would have to wait until tomorrow to which I politely replied "tomoorow is not my anniversary....today is." What was their reply...."well, would you like to cancel?" I did. It's not about the money and I was hoping to get something delivered....anything. But it didn't happen and I had to give my wife an excuse rather than flowers. Oh well...it's a good thing that we love each other regardless of gifts or I would have been in the doghouse.

The best gifts for women will enrich their lives by pampering them, making them feel sexy or assisting them in their daily lives.Happy Anniversary!

Thank you. I like to think that I make my wife feel needed and wanted. I also love helping out around the house and wirh the kids. The best part of it is that it isn't hard for me to do this as it doesn't come as a chore but as part of my relationship because I adore my wife so very much.

i hate ftd, Years ago, when i was just getingback to work My daughter and I decided to send flowers to my mom for Christmas, and we saw he perfect bouquet at a ftd store, they refused to take CASH! So we had to find my sis and use her credit card. we callde the Canadian home office, and yelled at them. they made the boquet bigger than we ordered for our troubles, but really a business that doesn't take cash?

That really is odd and a huge inconvinience. I try to spend cash whenever I can rather than charge.
I vaguely remeber from my business law class in college that it is by law that a business has to accept cash in the United States but my class was a long time ago and I could be wrong.
Either way, I would have walked out of the store without buying anything and still complained. Thank you for sharing your experience with me.

I just hate when plans like that fall through. It was completely out of your hands. I'm sure your wife understood, and you do know that you don't need a special occasion to give your lady flowers...
Some day next week, when she least expects it, have some delivered. She will appreciate it more than you know.
Happy Anniversary!!
