For those of you in school how do you study for tests? Do you take through notes and read through them later like I do? Do you take notes in class and read through them later? Do you have some other interesting method that works for you? And for those of you who aren't in school anymore how did you study when you were in school? Did these study habits help you after graduating?

I was making notes when sitting in the classes and then read through them the same day at night. That helped me clear out all the questions I had and memorize better of the materials. Also I went to the library at my spare time to find reference on some specific focus I was interested or I was confused. And that helped a lot to build up my further interests on various subject. Before exams, I usually read through all the materials I put together at least twice. When I was sure I master it very well, I stop and go for the finals. From all these years I found the most important thing is interest. Where there is interest, there is a good mark and later an achievement.

That is very true. I have trouble with being interested in some of my classes but the ones that do interest me are a lot easier to remember.

Ussually I study early at the morning because at this time is lonely. I belive that all that we read can we remember it and can be used when in exam. I prefer you study at 4am in the morning. I also listen the radio to release my tension while reading or study myself. If you felt lonely, I think you should make a study group and study together with your friends

I couldn't remember anything at 4 in the morning. :) I also listen to music when I study, I can't stand silence.

I'm not going to school currently but was a couple years ago and hope to in the future again. I love learning and no matter what my age I figure someday I will decide what I want to be when I grow up :)
When I am taking classes I always took tons of notes and was blessed to meet several younger students who were taking their further education serious and also took great notes. We often met before and after classes we had in common to compare notes and discuss the class. I also had other classes both on site and online with some of these students and we also shared notes and ideas for the other classes - this really helped with the online classes where you didn't have a class to discuss things in.
We also had a small network of students who exchanged e-mail addresses and when we were at home studying if we had a question or a break through we would email others to see what they thought or knew.

I know what you mean I love learning too and wish I could always go to school sometimes. :) I like your idea of meeting with different students I wish I could do that, but there are so many students in my classes that its hard to get to know anyone.

I usually study by taking the study sheet that they give you(if your lucky!) and going through and writing all the information down, then i keep on re writing it and re reading it for like a week before the test then by the time the test comes i usually have it all memorized or at least it looks familiar and i can usually think of the answer after that.

I took notes in class and reviewed them after class. It's very important to review those notes from time to time, on in that way, we can memorize them by heart.
