was there a family secret that came out ?

That my father cheated on my mom when he was living in china for work and I have a 3 year old half-brother living there. And that my parents were divorcing after 25 years of marriage. I havent learned much yet because it is all still new andcurrently going on. One thing I've learned is that ANY marriage can fall apart and not one person is immune. My parents we an incredable couple once, and look what happened to them.

Oh yes, we had a family secret but I don't think there was anything that I could have learned from it. I have three brothers and three sisters and I always wondered why my eldest brother looked like none of the rest of us. One day, my younger sister decided to be nosey and found out that my eldest brother had been adopted. My parents had never told us this, and I was in shock. I couldn't confront my parents about it as my sister would have been hung, strung and quartered if they found out. To this day, my brother doesn't know that we know about him being adopted but we still treat him just as before - a natural brother.

yes, well, maybe not so much "came out" but was revealed to me by my parents a couple years ago. I really did not need to know of these 3 secrets, I wish I was not told of them. They saddened me greatly.
