Would you tell white lies?

I'm sure it's part of our daily self argument eighter to say white lies or not. If you say it anyway, do you feel guilty? What are the instances of saying so?

I agree, sometimes we tell white lies to protect others feelings. As long as the intention is good, I don't see anything wrong.

Well sometimes I do. I know I shouldn't but i have told the occasional white lie just to get rid of someone. I have a neighbour who has been bugging me for quite a while now. She gets upset when I don't answer her calls, or even call her back. I've told her that i'm usually busy because i take care of my four year old son and that I can't always be at her beck and call. She still doesn't get it and thinks that I don't like her. I have on occasion invited her to join us when I take my son to the library. When she comes with us she wants us to go to the Post Office, to all the thrift stores around the area, do her personal shopping before we get to the library. I don't mind it sometimes, but other times I just want to go to where I want to go to without having to go to these other places. My son gets really tired, and when it comes to the library, he is too exhausted and just wants to go home!!!!! I have stopped inviting her to come with us and she gets upset when she sees me and my son walking to the bus stop and asks why I didn't invite her! I tell her that "oh I did call your home but noone answered" LOL - I didn't of course but thats beside the point... I didn't want her to come with us period. I find myself telling her more white lies which I know isn't good cause I do feel bad sometimes, so now I just avoid her and the phone altogether. If I do bump into her I just say "sorry I didn't get your message" LOL

There are really people who just can't get it. Take note the more we evade the more they show, isn't it. I understand you for doing that, your son should come first before her. And your not even twins, sisters or close family to want you always around with her. She's probably not getting enough friends.

yeah i think everyone tells white lies or lies. Because nobody is perfect only God. =) I felt guilty in someway when i lies. Because you know that it is not the right thing to do. Sometimes you force to lies no have no choice. Sometimes you lies to prevent from other to hurt their feelings. There's so much situation that you can't prevent to lie. But i know is still not excuse for us to lie. We should all prevent to tell lie or white lie =)

it is always a part of our life to do white lies. as long as it would'nt hurt someone your conscience is clear. it is always said to be white lies.
