Has anyone met people who like to hurt you about the things you don't have

Suppose for instance you are not working due to certain reasons even though you are well qualified then they will tell you when the situation arises your other friends are having good jobs earning a good sum etc and since you are not working they don't speak to you etc, they speak deliberately of things that hurt you, or sometimes they do it to kids too, they take them to stores and show them all the nice clothes which they would like to have they just show them tease them and bring them back home, anyone experienced such type of people, i have experienced them, what about you? Please share your experiences.

Well there are such people arround.They get immense pleasure doing it.For this you have to ignore the situation and make it look as if you were not affected by it mentally.Thereby they are back again puzzled by your behaviour and they would feel like fools in return.
