There are people like to start new discussions and some even more than 10 topics a day. There are people like to answer discussions more than 20 topics a day. What is your preference? To start new discussions or to response to disscussions?

Recently I used to create one new discussion daily. The rest of the time I answer discussions and add comment to friends that answer my discussions. I also like to read opinions given in other people's discussions.

It's great! How come you can creat so many new discussions at least one daily? Oh! you still spend most of your time to read, commend, answer and post response to others discussions. It's grateful to hear that. Wish you happy in mylotting.

I prefer to respond to discussions as opposed to starting one. I'm not really good with coming up with something original, and most of the time when i do think of something, its already been asked. A lot of the discussions I do respond to are ones that I have experienced myself - its nice to share our experiences whether they be right or wrong. How about you?

Every one have their own experience and point of view of the topics to be discussed and may not come the the same at the end as well as which is right and which is wrong. I think to enjoy the fun when respond to discussions or start a new discussion with quality both bring us happiness. Do you think so.

I prefer starting discussion, and let people responding to it. But I always run out of idea and my discussions are not getting enough response so far. But once i have started my discussion, I always anwer to all the responses to my discussion, except to those spam response or single word response. I used to able to make 50~100 response per day, but that is way too tiresome and I no longer doing that now.

I did contribute to mylot indeed. That's why i am able to get ~$10 per month for my personal contribution :) All the response I posted is having some quality and I never spam other people's discussion.

It's true that to star a new discussion with quality we need lots of idea and inspiration, that's why I've posted only a few diiscussions. I prefer to post responses to members's discussions which attract me. From the numbers of your posting, I think that you are a good conributor to the community of mylot with an average of around 10 posting per day.

I prefer responding to discussions. Seems the discussions I start don't attract much attention.

It is a good job if you can creat new discussions which can attract many responsea but to read and respond to as many as you can the discussions from other members from all over the world will enlarge our knoeledge, informations and etc.

In my case, I find it a lot easier to respond to the discussions, topics, querry that were already posted here, than to start a siscussion of my own. Creating a discussion of my own with a new topic is hard for me. Although I could see some people here who can post as many discussion or most aptly a question in one day. Most that I can see are just querry, repetition of the topics or questions earlier raised or asked.

I fully support your point of view that to respond to discussions is easier and happier to star new, but always duplicte, discussions.

I really do not have any preference on this. I would start a discussion if I have something to ask or to share with the members. If not, I would spend my time responding to discussions starting with the discussions started by my friends. If not I would just be reading them. :)

I think to respond to discussions started by others bring more fun than to start a new discussion expecially when I come to know that the discussion I posted are duplicated to topics some times ago and the result is : very few response. Hoping that you are not only to read my discussions but give response to them :-).

honestly, it really depends on my mood. sometimes, I can't find any thought/idea on mind. so I tend to just reply to some discussions here. but there are some days when I do have lots of ideas, that's the time I can start some new discussions.

Many of us like you so to respond to discussions that may raise our inspiration or idea mainly depend on our mood and feeling of the day. Any way, wish you always in a happy mood and respond to discussions, including mine, as many as you can.

I have just recently registered with myLot and I am finding it quite difficult to come up with a topic for discussion that has not already been posted. With so many members and so many discussions it is just hard to think of some. For the moment, I am happy enough to just respond to other peoples topics and I am enjoying it. That is my main reason for joining myLot - just to have fun and to make new friends.
