My father is very angry with me. My exams are near and I'm being here here on myLot---- compelete waste of time! I told him I participates in discussions here. He asked, which type of discussions? I said, anything. He demanded some examples, I gave --- about myLot, paypal, daily problems etc. He was not satisfied. Asked, if you can talk about ANYTHING, why don't you talk something about your studies? I was not sure.... He was not happy.... Now Please tell me may I really ask questions about Physics Chemistry here? Or they are not supposed to be here? I want opinion of all members, MLPD, myLot staff (if possible) and my friends. Kindly help me T_T

I think since you're still in school and exams are coming, you should prioritize your studies first. You can browse after these commitments are over. You can earn and learn here but these cannot give you a diploma... you know what I mean...

That hearts me a bit.... I'm not in 'school', that's called college level. But you are right, what I need much is a degree rather than ..... the experience here?

First of all dont participate in browsing during exams, except the matters realated to your studies. I hope there are many veterans out here, to help you out in your studies. All the best.

Thanks grandpa:) But the problem is that I don't have any specific book to study. :( Also my sister is somewhere else, I used to study with her till now. These things distract me much, especially book problem....

Actually I'm preparing for my entrance exam for engineering. That has only a syllabus, not a particular book. And when you don't have specific books to study, you study many and actually none :(

i think your dad is right. you should concentrate more on your studies than join discussions here in mylot. For me, you should only here in mylot during free time. As for your question if you can discuss academic matters here, i believe you can. But don't expect to get uniform and concrete answers. It is better that you study your books and notes. =)

I'm not going to get free time once my exams are up. Although they will take only 3-4 days, I'll become busy for admissions. You asked above about my schooling, well I'm not a school-going kid but one who was going to colleges. My story had a twist and I'll tell about it later in my own discussions but I really hate studying those subjects again which I had put behind me. They are not going to help me in my future.... except in this exams :) Well, there WILL be uniform and concrete answers to what I ask, if I ever dare to ask as the questions will be direct to point. Either you know or you don't...
