After seeing my dentist last thursday, I expalined to her my problem and the pain i was suffering. she got me examined by her assistant and as there were ni immediate dates available for operation, she suggested a slot after 2 days. She didnt even bother to prescribe me with the basic medicines i should be taking to get some relief from the pain for the next two days.
When i returned to her after two days and explained to her, she said that its the patient who should ask the doctor for a presciption or medicines? Its no way the duty of the doctor?
I feel, it is totally wrong, becoz once the patient has explained everything it becomes the duty of the doctor to prescribe appropriate medicines. What do you feel about this?

is she nuts or what!!! i think she was not in her senses!! i work in a hospital and come across disheartened patients and the hurts are mostly for no reason atall! still i ask everyone to give benefit of doubt since they need help and their behavious should not be counted. most of the times ppl assassin the doctors' character and their duty as they would do to a criminal !!
however, i find that the dentist does require extraction of her teeth in public. she could be an expert but certainly needs crash course in conduct. you should complaint against the doctor for her inane conduct.
good luck

I think that dentist should be shot. :P
How can she be so irresponsible? We are paying her for her professional advise.. we can't possibly know what to do. She should advise us and then we decide.
