Hi! I wouldn't say I love spinach, but I like it enough to eat raw spinach occasionally, like as salad greens. Also, if I am using spinach in a recipe, like a hot sandwich wrap or a lasagna or tortellini bake, I will layer raw spinach instead of using the frozen. I think it's how spinach was served when I was a kid that makes me not like it now. My grandma used to serve it with vinegar on it. Eeewwww! Not many kids like that! :-)

In my opinion, it's better to use raw, not frozen spinach to prepare dishes. Raw fried spinach is more tasty than frozen fried spinach. It has a little different consistency.
I used to hate spinach when I was kid, and my mother was trying to force me and my brother to eat it. She gived up, because we didn't want to eat this green pulp, there was no way to force us to do it. But now I love that taste:)

I like spinach. It's delicious and nutritious. But nowadays, I am living alone miles away from home town. So I am having my meals outside, because I am too lazy in preparing the food myself in my apartment. Therefore, it's up to the restaurant or food seller's menu, and spinach rarely appear in the list. So, in order to have spinach as one of the dishes, I will need to go back to my hometown to enjoy the home-cook food or start preparing the meal for myself LoL.

Really? I have never seen pizza with spinach so far. We do have pizza selling over here, but the variety are quite limited and definitely it's not one with spinach in it LoL. In my opinion, Pizza is a healthy and nutritious food because it contains balanced diet inside especially the one with spinach.

It was italian restaurant. I think that in ordinary pizzeria pizza with spinach is not available:(. I was surprised that there was plenty of spinach dishes in this restaurant. And they were not so expensive!:). I don't eat pizza often, so I don't bother much about the fact of pizza is healthy or not;). I know that it could be delicious... especially when it's with spinach:).
good time for U.

Basically Burek (or börek) is Yufka (Turkish bread) stuffed with various ingredients, then slightly oiled and cooked in the oven. It's roots originate in the Ottoman Empire. Yufka resembles a tiny sheet of dough. Spinach, green onion (also called welsh onion) and feta cheese (white cheese) (and some black pepper) are cut into tiny pieces and mixed together. This mixture is then wrapped with yufka. Yufka is slightly oiled and put to oven to cook for around 40 minutes at around 180 degrees. Yogurt is served normally (cold) together with burek. Obviously this is not a recipe, but a more general definition. You may wish to search burek and yufka on wikipedia. They have some good entries.

Delicious has my vote. We grow ours in the summer and I love it in salads or steamed with warm butter drizzled over top. Yummy!
Not too much of a recipe...lightly steam until tender...add a little dill or other seasoning...drain...add butter and enjoy!
In salads...wash, dry, chop and toss with other favorite salad fixings.

Hi:). I seldom buy raw spinach, I buy freezed one usually. My mother grows some vegetables in warm seasons, but she has never grown spinach, unfortunately.
Butter is great component to biled vegetables in my opinion. I use it to boiled beans, cauliflower or broccoli. I have never eaten spinach in salads. I am willing to taste raw spinach in salad, but when I make a salad I forget about spinach;).
take care, jazgottt.

I used to like spinach very much when I was young, but not after that I was told by my doctor that it contains a lot of acid calcium that does not agree with my body that I gave it up. I used to have some kidney stones and spinach is very easy to cause this disease. Therefore in order to avoid it from happening again, I do not eat spinach again. It has been many many years since I did not eat spinach though I know it is a good green vegetable.

Spinach is good. It's just salad-y leaves, what's wrong with it? Oh, right, because it's "icky" in lame TV shows, so people who can't think for themselves dislike it. Hooray.

I love spinach. It's full of potassium and iron. The California kind is great.

I was told that it's healthy to eat spinach when I was young. Lately, I read that iron from spinach is almost not assimilabled (I don't remember what's the reason). It is probably not the best source of iron for people. But it is still harmless for our organism, and so yummy:)

I was told that spinach is rich in minerals like iron so it’s good to take it often. I like spinach fried with sliced onions and meat. It quite nice to be taken as blended juice. My hubby dare not take much as it encourages growth of kidney stones.

I was also told that spinach is rich in iron, but lately I've heard that iron from spinach is not availabe for human organism because of acids that spinch contain (bad absorption of iron).
I don't know if it's true, but I eat spinach whenever I can because I love it;)

I love spinach! I must admit I vastly prefer baby leaves and eat them uncooked with a bit of ranch dressing. I also like to add spinach to an omelette, as it's a nice way to boost the vitamin content.
