I think the best thing that ever happened to me was getting a divorce about 17 years ago.
I remember back then staying in the marriage "for the sake of the kids. and boy was that wrong.
It was not a good thing for any of us. I hate to think how awful it would have been if we were still married...

Its a brave thing to do and I can understand why it would be a best thing if it made your life happier.

I did take it literally, oops, silly me, and having no money makes you search in directions you never thought you would and it makes you much more resourceful.

you take the word treasure literally my dear... it simply means " if you were born to a poor family, you've learned how to strive for a living and succeeded." That's what treasure means, the perseverance to become successful in life.

Mine is having MS. Without that I never would have met Bruce. We met in an online support group. With him, I have been to New York, California, and Chicago. We have bought a house. We laugh at each other. We truly love each other. MS has been a blessing to me.

I would never of thought I would hear someone say that and I am very pleasantly surprised, many focus on the negatives and its refreshing to hear someone focus on the positives, well done you.

Getting a good job in a bank is the best thing that has happened in my life. It has given me everything in life, including husband as they were particular that the girl should be working. It helped in getting my sisters married, to be of support to my father. Next is my children. They are adorable. They are so precious that I cannot imagine my life without them.
