whether really worth of sacrificing our life

Hi,
We can see many people live and dies for thier own principle.As a Tamilain i had seen and read about the people who had lived and died for my language.We can even now see srilankan tamils die for thier freedom in both the way that is in war and fasting.similarilly we can see communist guerillas fighting for thier policy and giving thier lives to thier policy.
Please tell me really these are worth, if you feel its worth then for what policy or noble thing you will sacrifice your life.

well sacrificing life is what i think is not good but fighting for yourself and nation is what i admire most and why not. while in the opposite case u are doing actually what just wasting the precious life given to you by god for some reasons for others and that too why because u are trained to do that.
so just fight for yourself and your nation.
