yes i have read this book and i fully agree with u that it's a really good book! i have read it 2 times actually first time when i was 13 years of age and second time a few months back, to remind myself about the book!:)in my opinion gandhiji wrote this book to show the others that it's really not difficult to bring changes in oneself and to become a great soul. now i want to read that book which he recommanded again and again in "my experiments with truth" about the "satyagraha" in south africa..

yes i fully agree with you...it is not a book alone, it is a saga of a man who arose, from an ordinary man with all vices, drawbacks (tht a common man is supposed to possess), to the dizzy level of spiritual and moral excellence, purity of mind. With these, he was able to inspire a poor, hungry nation to drive away a mighty super power ......Its a book strongly recommended for all people of modern era....a must read
