Rasengan or Chidori? Which is stronger?

Everyone here knows that Rasengan is Naruto's favorite ability and Chidori is Sasuke's favorite ability. Which do you think of the two is the strongest? Well, for me, Chidori is mainly for assianation and Rasengan is for knockouts. Rasengan does have the better advantage though, if you really think of it. It can be combined into anything. For example, he can use it with fire, rotate the fire into his rasengan. Also, rasengan can be used for defense also. Now, Chidori on the other hand, is quite strong. Kakashi's assianation techniques... I think that Chidori best Rasengan even though Rasengan is harder to learn. What do you think?

I think Rasengan is the best because now it can be combined with air element to form rasenshuriken, which is a very powerful technique created by naruto. This is the technique that defeat one of the Pain in the latest episode.

I don't know. Once I learn how to get my chakra flowing and have the hand signs correct to learn these moves; I'll let you know. Seriously though, they both have their strong and weak points to make them equal.

well this is a hard one but id have to say Rasengan it sound cooler and naruto can still make it stronger and besides its really uniqe taken straigt from a hokage i mean kakashi's great but a hokage is better

lol. try Fuma Rasengan Shuriken, it will blast you to other dimension. lol. i mean , that one strike alone killed Kakuzo's (sp?) FOUR hearts. and its properties were like poison, cutting through the Chakra's in your body as well as your internal organs.
though Sasuke can manipulate the Chidori in his whole body, rasengan is still way better at killing a whole village, considering its blasting and damage effect. lol

no rasengan wins any day remember its a wind technique stronger against chidori that was clearly shown in the anime when yamato explains naruto about nature of chakra

i think rasengan it much more powerful than chidori since rasengan is a level A jutsu
with shape manipulation at its highest level
but now lets see when both naruto and suske have taken them to the next level

I will vote for Rasengan it can be used many times as you like, unlike chidori, there's a limited possible usage. rasengan can be used statically while chidori as kakashi explained during the chuunin exam, that chidori needs force/speed in order to maximize the attack..

in my opinion rasengan is better than chidori. the difference between chidori has piercing property and rasengan more like blunt property.
the issue about jutsu usage limit applies to rasengan as well. so long as the chakra in rasengan doesnt used up the justsu will remain.if naruto put out the rasengan he would still lose the chakra. i dont think the chakra will return to him again.oh and naruto has great amount of chakra to use it many times.

Rasengan is better. Its more powerful, can be used in multiple ways and can be combined in to other techniques. Besides Chidori can only be executed properly if you have the sharingan.

Although I haven't seen the whole new power of Naruto's rasengan after the training... I still can say it is the rasengan that is far more powerful. And it is supposed to be.

The rasengan is much more powerful, as you can use 2 hands and have 2 rasengans whereas the chidori requires 2 hands and summons only 1. The rasengan can be elementally charge. Also, during the rooftop fight between Sasuke and Naruto, Chidori punched a hole in the tank while Rasengan blew open the entire thing. All in all, the rasengan is the stronger one of those two.

even sasuke can do chidori from all part of his body but this new rasengan is horrible

rasengan was taught by jiraiya the sannin compared to whom taught sasuke the chidori, kakashi. Rasengan is more powerful in terms of damage, usability and others. I vote for rasengan.

As of the current happenings in the anime, I think Sasuke can now use his Chidori as long as he likes. But I think Rasengan is better. And with the new Rasengan jutsu Naruto has yet to show in the anime, I think Rasengan will be cooler than Chidori.

i think Rasengan is better, cause you can use it as many times as you like, where as the Chidori can only be used twice. If you used it a third time you would die, as kakashi put it. Also you need to hit the emeny at a high speed fo the best result when using the Chidori, and the Rasengan's power comes from the speed of the spin. It may be harder to learn it but i think Rasengan is better.
