Why, yes indeed it is! It's also a very complex language for me to try and comprehend!! My best friend (the bestest bestest bestest friend I've ever had) speaks marathi, but he says that he usually speaks english as the marathi language he says is his "native tongue". Can you tell me what this means? Maze tuzyawar prem aahe!! ;)

No dear You are wrong . I'm maratha too by caste but I feel sindhi,punjabi,english,tamil,hindi and every indian language is maharastra's language. Maharastra is third fastest economical stabalizing state .
