Papa smurf left due to bug bites

I'm so glad to hear that it wasn't his heart...I know when they showed him he had so many bites, who would ever think you can get so sick from that. But at least he is AOK now..I really liked him and can't wait to get home to see this weeks show as I had to miss it last week as I'm in Minnesota right now and haven't had time to really watch the TV or even know what channel it is on here... But will be home to watch it the 15th.. Wooohoooo

It was sad that he was having health problems and had to leave the show but his health is more important than anything and was glad to hear that he is doing better. I wonder how many of us know if we are allergic to certain bug bites or not. There obviously is a definite health risk by being on this show and being on those islands.

Thanks for checking that out. Usually they give an update on the show and they hadn't done that so I thought it might be quite serious. I am glad to hear he is doing better but at the same time, sad to see that is why he had to leave.

Thank you for checking that out and letting us all know what you found. I like this show for a variety of reasons. It is interesting to see how people deal with the different situations that they have to face.

Did they say what was bitting him? I mean they are prescreened and I am sure they asked them if anyone was allergic to mosquitos. Therefore I wonder if they disclosed what type of bugs they were.
