Internet gamez.......Are they harmful?

internet games are becomin populer all over the world day by day. Children are so involved in these games tht they forget to persue for better things in life nd their minds are always ocupied by these thoughts. In America 177 children died due to so much involvement in these games that they get addicted. Children alwayws think about these games and become so addicted that were started they overplayed and this caused brain tumors to grow. After reading this news, my dad was shocked and forbid me to play internet games. What are your advices people, do u think that internet games are benefitial? Or does it depends on the usage. However i think its because these games are far too addictive and children find it hard to leave them. please give me your opinions.....
