I have dried up. Do you run out of things to say on Mylot?

Some days I reach a point of paralysis and cannot think of any thing to say on Mylot. Like today my brain is fried and I feel the well has dried up. Doyou get days when you feelyou have nothing to say of paramount importance or interest to any one? I am doing loads of responses but I am feeling like a despondent discussion poster today.

I try to keep my skin moisturized so I am not dried up yet. Lol J/K. :P Take a break, my friend. I think you may be encountering the notorious writer's block. We all get it from time to time.. it's time for a kit-kat now! ;-)

Annie, do you have any unresponded right now. I have been slow for a few days, so I do not always check all of my friends discussions. That may be my next stop, looking for things missing responses.

That doesn't happen to me here. I always find some topic to respond to if I feel like it. But I do often get writer's block now on Associated Content, and then I want to write something but can't come up with an idea. So then I'll stick around on MyLot for awhile.

absolutely. infact after a month of being extremely active at mylot, i took a month long break, this is my second post after that break! :) it was getting on my nerves, was just completely out of ideas, and the stupid/meaningless topics posted here fuel in the frustration.. so i decided to quit for a while! it was worth it since now i m feeling refreshed and ready to post like hell :)

I know exactly how you feel. There are days when I feel like myLot is the greatest thing ever and I cruise around for hours posting about things that really excite me. During that time I can start a lot of discussions asking for opinions and have a really good time responding to other people. Other days, I sorts surf around aimlessly and can't think of a single thing to contribute. Or when I do contribute, my responses are shorter and not nearly as interesting or caring as other responses that I've posted before. The nice thing is that this pattern seems to come and go. However, who knows how I'm going to feel once I've been on MyLot for longer than a few months though. Who knows, perhaps I'll feel all motivated again once I get that first payout! LOL!

I do not post very many discussions, because sometimes all of my brain cells seem fried. I just got an inspiration from one of your posts, though, that will allow me to start a discussion under one of my interests, later. You never know what will give you a spark.

Yanjiaren, a few weeks ago you were heading for your 1000th post. Remember? You had this drive to make it in a certain weekend... Now you have over 2500 entries in MyLot. It does not strike me as odd that you dried up... you have thought up everything there is to be thought up, answered about everybody there was to answer... You jaded your resources, so to speak. Why don't you take a couple of days off, relax, go out the house, away from the computer, meet people and then, if you have the urge again, come back... It is not like with mylot you can earn hundreds of dollars you may loose in those few days. Don't overdo things, girl, I told you so before. There is more to life than the computer and mylot, than earning a few pennies here and there in order to make some dollars. Live life to the fullest and take a break!!

Most of the time i never really start to 'dry up' because there are so many discussions to reply to so i can say as much things as i want on the subject. Best part is that i can express my opinion... Otherwise if your talking about posting discussions... never do i dry up as i only create 2-3 discussions a day...

There comes a time when people don't have the ability to continue. But if given some sort of boost or inspiration it starts again. I think that is the problem with you right now. Don't worry it is a matter of time before you get to again. Drink a couple o glass o water right now. Sometime later you'll be charged up and ready to get out of your paralysis. Happy posting and your roots willn't remain dried up for long now. :) I hope this helped you.

Same to me dear friend...You have been here for a quiet long time and can say I ve dried up..but I ve been here for only 3 4 days and has almost fedup considering the fact that I ve fully dried out off topics..Seriously I do work out topics in my room so that I can come here and put some discussions over here...But once I start writing a response, ideas just rush in to my mind..I really enjoy writing here....

Yep! it happens alot. We all have our limit. We need a break. I have felt this many times and posted what i felt many times as well.:) Its just that there are days that nothing seem interesting. there are days when there's just no words or any quality thoughts that flow in our brains. There are certainly days when our focus isnt on mylot. and that would make it a real pressure here:P

I also experience those days that no matter how I concentrate, I can’t seem to find anything interesting or meaningful to say. I guess most of us have experience this I think. What I usually do is if I really cant find anything to say, then I will just stay away from my lot for the day and just try again the next day. This usually works for me.

Some days I post a discussion, some days I just do responses. As long as you're doing something don't worry about it. I think we all have times when we find it hard to come up with something to write about. If so, just take a break and maybe something will come to you later.
