Why do some people love smoking?

It's social and relaxing. That's the main benifits IMO :-)

I am not sure that many people love smoking as much as they are addicted to it.And just like any addiction,it is very difficult to break the habit.Very few people do not know or understand the negative effects of smoking on their body,but for them the positive they receive outweighs the negative.

Well, it is addictive. I smoke, I think I do it as a break. I am a stay at home mom with two kids, and as a stay at home mom, there is a lot to do, and I smoke, to have two minutes to myself, outside, where no one bothers me or needs me. I know that I could do this without smoking, but there would really be no reason too. I honestly can't tell you why I smoke, I do like it, but I know it is dangerous, but its just something I do.

Smoking is an addiction. As with any addiction it's very hard to quit. Many people quit for a while and then start again. People know what smoking does to their lungs, so they know what they're getting into by continuing to smoke.
