I look threw the sales paper for what is on sale. I also will buy generic on some things. If I have a coupon for something I am going to buy then I use it.

Here are a couple tips that work for me when it comes to saving money at the grocery store. 1.) Make up an actual meal plan for your home. Moms have done this for years. Anyone remember Meatloaf Thursdays, or Spagetti Saturday. It's easy to plan for and budget when meals happen pretty much the same way every week. Plus, it'll be easier to write up your grocery store list. 2.) Get some good crockpot recipes. Most crockpot recipes require little preparation time and then cook by themselves, (even while you're at work). And, since most crockpot recipes use scratch ingredients, you'll actually end up saving money on your grocrey bill. 3.) Cut out prepackaged convenience foods and TV dinners at the grocery store. Cook from scratch whenever you can. 4.) Use the Walmart price matching policy. This saves you time and gas going from store to store. You can just bring all your weekly grocery papers to one spot and then they'll give you the same deals. 5.) Shop online. You'd be surprised how many online grocery stores offer competitve prices on staples that you use everyday. Some even give free shipping. Just a couple ideas that have worked for me. Hope these tips help you save money too.

I use a lot of coupons, and we shop at the local Albertsons where they offer 10 items for $10. We also do save-a-lot stores, where they have zero frills and lots of cheap basic goods. But, the meats are best at Albertsons and Walmart. And, diapers are super cheap at Walmart. Best tip is to stay out of the stores, though. Too expensive. And, you have to count in the cost of gas to go to the store.

I simply shop in the stores where I know they got the chepest products. You probably have discount chains in your country as well :-)

To start off, make a list before you leave your house and stick to it. If you clip coupons, compare the prices to the cheaper alternative(sometimes coupons dont save you that much). Sometimes buying in bulk can save you some serious money also.

Depends, when it comes for groceries I always compare prices. In my experienced, some cheaper shop didn't always cheap. And I always look on the bottom shelf. Mostly they put the cheapest price on the bottom shelf (less visible) and the middel price and expensive stuff is just within reach and you can see them directly. So, for me...bottom shelf first then all they way up. And as for the clothes, I'll buy at the end of the season. Because the prices is really going down on sale and I'll save it for next year. As for my daughter clothes, I'll buy some clothes one size bigger. In that way she can wear most of her clothes longer and still fit her the year next.

First, you should make a list of all the items you need. Avoid using your credit cards. Compare prices before picking up an item. Choose items which are high in quality but low in price. Be sure to buy only items which are needed and avoid the items which are not included in your list. Check out for some discounted offers. Hope some of my tips might help you... Happy shopping...

Every Wed., grocery sales papers come in the local newspaper. I sit there and compare the price. I love shopping at Wal-Mart supercent, so if something I want from Walmart is higher than at a local store wal-mart will match the price if you show them the paper. I also use coupons to help save some money, and most stores let you double the coupons. I hope that helps you out.
