We live in a small town that has no place to work out and the closest place to go is 40 miles away. So being on a committee to improve the community I decided to start a workout group in our town hall. I know of 10 people that are coming and am unsure of which DVDs I should use. I know some are in better fittness then others so am now worried about which work outs we should do. I think some are coming just to get out of the house three times a week so I don't want to scare them off by doing anything too aggressive. Myself I am not fit at all so I was going to use some dance excercise videos I have that are easy but can get you winded. Another person wanted to bring a TaeBo work out tape but I do not know how hard they are. Any ideas how to make it so everyone enjoys it?

Hi Im Toya well if youre just starting the group and not fit yourself then i wouldnt do anything too hard as you could get injuries - maybe do a kind of small survey and see what kind of fitness everyone enjoys and make it more social. so you could use a small fitness routine 3 times a week with a warm up some aerobics - or walking jogging dancing - and also arrange social events for the group to take part in and get involved in - for example a run, or swimming, or sponsored keep fit day, social dance - maybe theres members who already do workouts and can contribute to the group and give workouts. if you use dvds go for the beginners or general ones with short 10-20 minute workouts - you could arrange different activities for the different days aswell - maybe you could do some sports like baseball hope this helps..
