well i think saurav was the best skipper india had... cos.. --captains are not made they are born...n saurav has his in born arrogance n leaderchip qualities tat a grt captain needs... --he makes every player co operate....he was the man who coined the word "team inida"...n introduces cuddling before going to field.. --he makes a few hasty decisions in the field n makes them win the match for the team...

sourav is the ultimate choie d way he places the fielding set up the encouragement for the new guys in the team nothing can overpower his type of captaincy

I feel Kapil Dev has been the best captain of India since he led India to it's first & only world cup triumph till date in 1983 when they were underdogs was a huge achievement which revoltionised the game of cricket in India. Then Kapil dev was an inspirational captain who led from the front with both bat and ball and led India to may victories. He was also aggresive in his captaincy.
