Which LCD TV do I buy

Go for the Plasma if you have the money. LCD just plain suck.

there are different schools of thought for choosing the Plasma or the LCD TVs. plasma technology is said to have a shorter or more limited life span as compared to the LCD due to the fact of the plasma material burning out on the screen. of course, others will disagree with this. LCD technology is really crisp, but LCD technology has not quite advanced to very large tvs at this point (although the 26" LCD is really good). another disadvantage to the LCD is that it has a higher chance of breaking (but i'm sure you will not be constantly moving this around your house, so the risk isn't so great). in the end, it's usually still a personal preference. let me know what you decide.

Plasma is the best on offer

I prefer buying 32 inch LCD tv.It's bigger and it's more worth it.

if you are planning to have a LCDor plasma tv go for samsung...it is really good we are using one 26"lcd at the office...

Plasma is only used for big TVs, I don't think you can find a 26" plasma TV. So that answers your question about LCD/ Plasma. You should buy a known brand, and don't buy too cheap. I recently got a 40" Samsung LCD, I paid around $3000 for it, and it's great. Just remember you get what you pay for.
