Hi I am reading the book fahrenheit 451 and i think the book is very exciting. The picture it puts in my head is very vivid and the storyline is adventurous. Montag is the main character and he lives in a world where knowledge is outlawed and firemen start fires instead of putting them out. In this distopia books and even walking on sidewalks are outlawed. It is a very good book and if you have not read it i encourage you to do so. If you have what do you think of it?

I remember reading this back when I was in junior high school. This book till this day stuck with me because being such an avid reader I can not imagine living in a world where books are outlawed. I have since bought this book and given it to my daughter for her to read. She does not share my passion for reading but I felt its a book every teenager should read at some point in there life.

This is an excellent book and one I suggest everyone read, especially people who are bent on banning any books. This really shows how censorship can go too far. For those who don't know Fahrenheit 451 is the temperature that a book will burn at, hence the name since the Fireman burn books. In this book the main character has doubts about such practices. They did make a movie out of it that wasn't bad but it's wasn't the greatest. It was a "B" type movie. All around though this book is one not to miss.
