Is there any one who listens (even people who had earlier listened and stopped now) Radio stations like the BBC World Service, Voice of America, Radio Moscow, Radio Netherlands, Radio Australia, Radio Canada International, Christian Science Monitor, Trans World Radio, FEBA etc..
Before the advent of satellite TV, Short wave Radio was the source of News and entertainemt from the west.

I have been a regular listener of radio
since my childhood . but now a days , I
get sohrtwave radio signals with lot of
disturbances . I stay at a modern city
and it is difficult to get clean radio
signals without any interference - sad .
and I cannot afford a satellite radio
receiver . we have world space radio
available with more than 2 dozen channels
but its monthly charges are high .

What was your favourite Radio Station? Presenter? Program? Short wave Radio was very cool those days..now I guess like the song Video killed the Radio star.. TV has killed Radio....
