If you work night shift, how do you sleep comfortably in the morning?

I started to work at night shif since our client is from another country. In the mornings i have to force my body to sleep. I tried reading, surfing and watching TV. I even tried covering my windows to make my room dark but it didnt work. Maybe you have ideas on how you can help me to have a comfortable sleep in the mornings?

I work nightshift as well coz my clients are all based in US. I work at home from 12am to 10am PST. I usually sleep like around 2:30p for like an hour or two, i get lucky if i am able to sleep for 3 or 4 hours in the morning but it rarely happens. And then, around 7pm or 8pm i sleep again and wakes up 5 min before 12am. It isn't that hard for me to get some sleep in the morning because when i'm so tired and sleepy then i just doze off easily. My true, satisfying sleep though comes in around night time still. I suggest you take a shower before sleeping or read a book first. Don't force yourself to sleep coz it will give you a headache.

I worked night for about 3 years but i never had any trouvbles falling to sleep when i came home. i was exhausted after beeing up all night. I would NEVER go back to working nights though - it ruined my social life completely =( I am happy with working days again One thng you can try is to take a relaxing bath or soemthing when u get home, it mighjt be that u are stressed and worked up. Helping the body to relax might cause you to fall asleep - good luck!
