I have the habit of seeing small parts of movies on TV and then switching off to some other channels. The funny thing when I later saw that movie in its entirety I would love that and make me wonder why didn't watch it earlier. I can't remember what got me more interested than that excellent movie. I have done that so many times. But I did that on "Savior" and the "The constant gardener" and was really annoyed with myself for not seeing these movies earlier because I enjoyed these movies immensely. Regards

Most of my all-time favorite films I saw from the middle the first time.Don't give yourself a hard time. You have to be in the mood to see films. Maybe you were busy that day. At least you remembered the title of the film so you could see it later. The one film I wished I had seen earlier, I mean in the theater, was Die Hard. When it came out I wasn't interested in seeing it.But a year later I saw it on cable. It was good.

Astroo13, would you believe me if I told you I haven't seen the sequels to Die Hard?

I wish I had seen "Office Space" sooner. When I started my first office job rightout of college, everyone in the office was quoting it and talking about it. I had never heard of it though. A friend offerend to let me borrow his copy. When I fist brough it home I didn't want it for a few days because I just couldn't imagine it was as hilarious as fun as everyone said it was. My friend kept asking me about it, so I finally watched it.
I LOVED it. And I really wished I had watched it sooner. It was as funny as people said, and now that I had an office job, I really got a lot of the jokes. It was nice that I could then quote the movie with my co-workers too. We all even convinced one of the managers to let us have Hawaiian short day.

There have been a few movies I came into on regular tv that I hadn't really thought to watch before due to the commercials for them. Just didn't seem that interesting. Then I flip into them or they are on after something else and then I'm hooked. I am usually pleasently surprised at how good it is and I would wish I'd seen it earlier. "The Breakfast Club" was one such movie as was "Pretty Woman", they are both very good and I've enjoyed them a lot since I saw them.

Oh I know... this hapens to me all the time too. While watching a intersting movie there'll be a scene in between which i remeber seeing and changing the channel just a few days back. I guess it is because I like watching movies from the begning and if after seeing a perticular scene I realise that more than half of the movie has gone then I don't continue watching it because it wont make sence.

I know exactly what you mean, but I don't know the two movies you mention in your post.

I feel that way about "Strictly Ballroom." I watched it one afternoon on cable when I was sick at college and I was amazed by how much I liked it. I've heard of hte director Baz Lerman (sp?) before, but I'd only felt so-so about his films (this was before Moulin Rouge however). I liked the costumes so I gave it a shot. I ended up liking it so much that I taped it when it was on again and watched it with all my friends in the dorm. They ended up loving it to. It's funny, I had heard of the movie before, but never took the time to seek it out. In this case, guess I was pretty thankful to have cable tv.
