I just switched my dog to purina ONE brand food after seeing the great results my cat had when I switched him to ONE cat food. My cat is 10 and he really livened up after the switch. I haven't seen as dramatic a change in my dog, since he is only 4 and pretty lively anyway. Every now and then he gets a tidbit of leftover food like a bit of chicken or steak, but just a bite. He also gets an occasional carrot or pea pod, he likes them becasue they are crunchy.

I use Purina for all of my animals and have used Purina for about 10 years now. Wonderful food for all my furry or feathered friends!

Ever since Ike (our 1 year old lab/pibull mix) was a puppy, we have fed him Iams. He seems to really like it and this is one of the brands that is highly recommended by vets. It can be very difficult to avoid looking at those puppy dog eyes and I will admit that we give Ike some people food from time to time. I really don't think the odd "treat" can hurt him. One of his favorites is popcorn (not too much salt or butter though).

I fed my dog "Vitality : Lamb and beef" it has a magic coat formula which makes your dog's coat shiny :)
I also gave her some cheese or liver or french fries as a treat.

aside from leftover foods, i feed my 4-month old puppy with pedigree. it strengthens her immune system and enhances her fur. nice brand. i recommend it for your dog too.
