Is it low self esteem or what?

This is a question for women? Why is it that most of you have low self esteem and are always complaining about you bodies or other factors. I have had dated many women and seem to always notice that no matter how pretty or sexy the women is and how much I tell her she is, it seems she still has low self esteem about herself and feels there needs to be a change in her. I have dated some women that are very sexy, drop dead stunning, so pretty they don't have to wear makeup or nothing, but don't think that they are beautiful and sexy. Please give me some input on this subject.

I think it has to do with two things. First it's all of the media images we are bombarded with on a daily basis. Most of us don't weight 94 pounds anymore and even though this might not be what men truly like, it is all we know anymore. Also, I think many women don't know how to just shut up and take a complement with grace.

I will tell you why. Because we like to hear it. We like to hear that we are pretty and that we don't need makeup and that we are not fat. So instead of waiting for men to give us compliments, we make fun of ourselves or complain about the way we look so that you guys will tell us something nice. =) Now, this isn't always the case but in some it is. Another reason why we do this is because we are always comparing ourselves to other women and the other women we compare ourselves to are always either prettier or thinner then us so that makes us feel bad about ourselves.
