The difference with starting a biz and the get paid programs, or work-at-home jobs is that many home businesses have a startup fee and a monthly fee to maintain the biz. That doesn't mean it's a scam, that's just the nature of a home biz. I work for West and Alpine and these are work at home jobs, which do not require a start up fee, simply because I'm not paid a commission on sales made. I basically receive incoming calls and help customers place orders. The trick is finding a business that you can really get behind, and also a biz that's not a scam. With work at home jobs, you should never pay a fee to work for them. That's generally a red flag but it's quite normal to pay a fee when starting a home business.

For this business i am paying the fee for the services offered, you could make use of them for 30 days as a free trial member, if you do not enter your payment details after the 30 days expire your account will become inactive.. Besides, it only makes sense for this business to pay for its services as how am i going to concinve people to subscribe in services that i am not subscribed to!? And the way i see it is as you said, not all home based businesses are scams, however, they are cheaper to start if you find the right one, which should have some attributes like legitimacy, continuaty, good income potential, etc.. Well to make 5 or 6 figures you would have to work hard for it and make sales, the 5 or 6 figures are just commissions from your sales, they would do more! If you do not work for it you will hardly earn 3 figures:)
