what music irritates you the most?

I know I am just being old fashioned I guess but "rap" makes me crazy. Actually, I don't really classify it as music now that I think of it. I grew up with the Beatles, the Beach Boys and Simon and Garfunkle. Now that was music..

Anything with a lousy bass or rhythm track. So much of this stuff is so badly mixed it's insulting. "Thud, Thud", wrong volume, no use of treble, not tweaked at all, no other resonances, obviously looped, with some pitiful effort at a vocal track lost in the clutter. Honestly, you could mix better with a spoon.

Rap music as it is mostly beat that people love playing to annoy people. I can't usually understand the words but always gives me the impression they are grunging the world because they can't get to be a part of it

I can't stand anything with foul language or talks about violence or abuse against women. I don't need to hear that. When my neighbors play music, I can't stand the bass of it. But, I like music with strong bass in general.

Rap should start with a silent C, it's simply awful!

Country. Hands down, without a doubt, country. It's like someone scratching their nails down a blackboard. I can even listen to some rap - not a lot of it. But given the choice between country or rap, I'll choose rap. Country music has to be turned down. When the kids were home, my oldest daughter liked country. I likened it as her rebellion - like when I liked rock & roll at her age. Now if I'm in her car with her, she'll turn on a rock station for me. If she's in my car, she listens to my rock station, too. lol...selfish? maybe...but UGH I hate country! (sorry country fans)

Rap and country. Especially that twangy blue grass crap. I cannot stand rap because it is not music, it is annoying!
