St Pat's is on a saturday this year, and this gives us all the opportunity to party like we're Irish and still have a day to recover. So what are your plans this year? And in your town, does the beer flow green?

Most likely we'll be having a corned beef and cabbage dinner with carrots and potatos and some dessert probably something with green frosting. Maybe we'll watch St. Patrick's Day Parade on TV. We don't eat anything with green dye in it but I know that some people do. Happy St. Patrick's Day.

I am going to start out the day dressing as a lepracaun and going to my work where I am off on that day. I will be helping serve the residents breakfast at the nursing home. Watching their faces when I walk up to serve them breakfast dressed all in green even to my hair. Then in the evening I will still have my outfit on and go across the street to the civic center where they have a night in paradise theme for the kids. I will be helping out there with the kids. I don't drink but I do enjoy celebrating the holiday.

That's awesome! I think it is great that you are bringing a little Irish Cheer to the folks in the nursing home. :)

I love doing that. The elderly folks get such a charge out of it. Anything I can do to make them happy I do.
