I am from the Philippines. And as a Filipino, I am very proud of my culture, traits and traditions. I grew up with a lot of respect to elders. Filipinos' being hospitable to visitors makes Phils a great tourist spot...of course aside from great places Phils has.
What makes me not proud is "Filipinos are great imitators"! Not so much word needed for me to explain. LOL!

I am proud of America because of the freedom. I am proud that we can pretty much live our lives and spend our money, just be free. I am not so proud of the raging war with Iraq though. I think it is all about stealing gas and I think it is ridiculus and unnesassary.

The one thing I am not proud of about my country is the President. I believe George W. is not a good president. I cannot wait until he is out of office. He doesn't listen to public opinion, much less care about wehat other people have to say about issues. I hope whoever is next does a better job than him.

I am proud of my homecountry the Philippines because of its people. People are very friendly and hospitable. I find it different there. People seem to be always happy despite of the hardships in life. I am not proud of the corruption and now being listed as number 1 corrupt country in Asia. Very sad but true.

Yes, we filipinos are one of the nations that has alot of cultures. Even those cultures that we inherited to most of the countries that influenced us in our everyday lives are still practiced these days, and I am proud that we still make time to enjoy it.
We are also rich in craftsmanship, heritage and traits from where we envied by other countries and we earn respect because of this. And we also try to keep things moving smoothly, eventhough we have troubles in our everyday living we still can lend a smile to each person we come acroos with!;)
