Is not vaccinating legal in Canada?

Canada

I am serious, I really need an answer. Okay. My daughter had a bad reaction to her vaccination at four months old. We decided that until we spoke to our family doctor, to ask about the reaction (both of her little legs went purple!) we would delay vaxing until we found out the facts. She is now 9 months old, and still no updated vax. Well today I get a call from my Family Support worker, telling me that someone in their office made an appointment tomorrow for our daughter to have her shots? And if I didn't have her vaxed, he would report me to Child Protection for neglecting her basic needs. So instead of letting them call my social worker on me, I called her. And I asked her what she suggested because of us refusing to vaccinate her. she suggested to call our family doctor, make an appointment and go from there. I called my support worker back, and it seemed like this person was ignoring me. What would you do? Would not vaxing be illegal in Canada?

Although I don't know anything about Canadian law it seems only right that you would have the right to refuse something you know to be harmful to your daughter. I'd be interested in knowing what you end up finding out.
